The formula itself is fine, no issues. My issue is that it’s overpriced on this website and to top off, there’s duty to be paid in order to receive the package..almost an additional $20 !! I normally sure happy tots organic to purchase this formula and it’s way cheaper on that site and no additional duties and only $5 shipping fees..

We regret to hear about the duty fee you've encountered. Please be aware that import fees are levied by your customs authorities, and unfortunately, we do not influence the calculation of these charges. The fee can vary as it is dependent on the assessment by the customs officer handling your shipment. Typically, we observe an average import fee of CAD 16–18 from your country's customs, which generally applies regardless of the order's size or value. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
To enhance your future ordering experience, we suggest considering larger bundles. This approach often yields savings both per unit and on import fees, helping you manage costs more effectively.
We've heard from multiple customers of ours that they don't pay import charges when they shop with our competitors. However, we've seen some of their shipping papers, and it looks like they're not truthfully filling in the invoices for Canadian customs to assess the shipment and determine the correct import charges. This makes them able to not have to pay import charges, but not for the right reasons. We can't say this for all of our competitors, but we've seen it for many of them and know that most of them are doing it that way.
We will always use the proper product descriptions, import codes, product values, purchase types, etc. for our shipments, as this will eventually be best for the long run.
Also, we are working on a shipping solution that will use an express route (approximately 5 business days) to Canada for our Canadian customers. This new shipping solution will be on a DDP basis, meaning that you will not be paying the import charges but we will, as the shipper. This is not implemented yet but we are testing it and hope it will be operation soon.

How Long Does the Prepared Formula Last?

Preparation for all powdered formulas:
Begin by using freshly boiled water for each of your baby's meals and allow it to cool down to 120 degrees Fahrenheit (50 °C) before mixing it with the formula.
Pour 2/3 of the required boiled water into a clean and sterilized bottle.
Utilize the scoop provided with your formula box (note that spoon sizes may vary by brand and lot). Add the appropriate number of leveled scoops of powder, with 1 leveled scoop per 1oz / 30ml of water.
Close the bottle with the nipple and cap, then vigorously shake until all the powder has completely dissolved.
Add the remaining water to the bottle and shake it thoroughly.
Cool the formula to drinking temperature (approximately 98 degrees Fahrenheit or 37 °C), and ALWAYS test the temperature before feeding to prevent scalding or burning your little one.
Important Information:
Only use the scoop provided in the pack.
Do not alter the strength of feeds by adding extra water/scoops, and refrain from adding anything else to the milk.
Always prepare formula freshly; avoid preparing in advance. Use it immediately and discard any leftovers at the end of the feed.
Avoid heating a bottle in a microwave, as it may result in hot spots that could cause scalding.
Consume all opened formula within 21 days. Never use formula beyond its expiration date. The expiration date on the formula box/tin follows the European standard: day/month/year.
Steer clear of storing formula in areas of high heat or humidity.
Stage PRE and Stage 1 are exluded from promotional prices or discounts. Prices may be lowered due to economies of scale in fulfilment, parcel handling and distribution.
